Conditions of Sale


No Auction Option Vehicles

  1. Terms shall be strictly cash, bank cheque or cheque drawn by any Queensland-based building society or Queensland-based credit union/society payable to the Public Trustee, prior to delivery. if a successful purchaser pays by cash in an amount of $10,000 or more, that purchaser must provide all necessary personal details that will enable the Public Trustee to comply with its reporting obligations under the ‘Financial Transaction Reports Act 1988’.
  2. The purchaser will pay a non- refundable deposit of $100 upon purchase of vehicles with the balance payable by close of business on the second business day following the purchase. In addition to the purchase price, all buyers will pay $21.00 towards the cost of providing a security interest certificate (commonly called a “REVS” certificate), pursuant to the ‘Property Agents And Motor Dealers act 2000’.
  3. All QFleet No Auction Option vehicles come with a 24 hour cooling off period. This cooling off period ends at C.O.B on the next business day or upon possession of the vehicle.

  4. All vehicles are to be taken with all faults, if any, and will be at the buyers risk upon purchase & thereafter the vendor will be free of all responsibility for safeguarding the goods and will not be liable for any loss or damage to the goods sold.
  5. All vehicles are sold with a roadworthy certificate and safety certificate are provided with each vehicle. no refunds will be made for missing tools etc.
  6. All relevant dates are given in reference to the built date or Australian compliance plate for each vehicle.

  8. The vendor may, without giving any reason therefore, refuse to accept any offer of any person or withdraw any vehicle from sale.
  9. The vendor is not responsible for the correct description of, or any fault or defect in any vehicle and makes no warranty whatever.
  10. All vehicles having been available for inspection, no allowance or refund will be made nor may any buyer reject a vehicle because of alleged mis-description. Any error made in describing the vehicle including year of make and model shall not violate the sale, but the purchaser shall be bound to take the goods sold provided the sample has been shown. Vehicles are sold subject to all faults (if any).
  11. Members of the public attend at their own risk. No responsibility is accepted for any accident.
  12. Delivery is not to be taken without a representative of the vendor being present at the time.
  13. Time is to remain the essence in regard to these conditions.
  14. No waiver of these conditions will be valid unless in writing by the public trustee.
  15. If GST is payable in respect of the supply of the property:
    (i) The seller is registered for GST purposes.
    (ii) GST is payable on the supply of the property that is to be sold.
    (iii) Purchase price will only be accepted as GST -inclusive.
  16. If GST is not payable in respect of the supply of the property:
    (i) GST is not payable on the supply of the property that is to be sold.
