How to Invest: The Public Trustee of Queensland

Follow these easy steps to invest with The Public Trustee of Queensland.

Step 1

Download and read a current application package:
1) PTIF Information Memorandum 1.1MB
Email us your postal address to have an application package mailed to you.
Call 1800 066 774 to request an application package be mailed to you.
Visit your closest Office of The Public Trustee of Queensland to collect an application package.

Step 2

If you would like to invest regularly, you can make regular contributions to your investment with as little as $50. To do this you must complete a direct debit or payroll deduction authority (found attached to the application package).

Step 3

To make an investment you must complete an application form found in an Information Memorandum.
Complete the direct debit or payroll deduction authority if you intend to make regular contributions.

Step 4

Attach a cheque for the investment amount, made payable to 'The Public
Trustee of Queensland' and cross 'not negotiable'.

Step 5

Send your completed Application Form and cheque to:

Alternatively, you may lodge your Application Form and cheque at any Office of The Public Trustee of Queensland.

Processing of Applications

An application received before 2pm on a normal working day will be processed on that day's application price. Application received after 2pm will be processed on the application price of the following day.

If the form is incomplete or not correctly filled, you will be contacted by a representative of The Public Trustee. In the meantime, your money will be invested in an At Call account in your name and will earn interest.

Adding to Your Investment

Once you are a registered investor with The Public Trustee, making additional investments is easy.

You can make additional investments by filling out a downloaded or hard copy application form and sending it with a cheque to:

Switching Funds

You can switch from one fund to another. You are required to complete an application form to action the switch. There are no fees for switching.
