White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation
The White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation program recognises workplaces that promote respectful, safe and inclusive cultures by taking active steps to prevent and respond to Domestic and Family violence (DFV).
As an employer, the Public Trustee has an ethical responsibility to take action to prevent domestic violence. As part of our White Ribbon commitment, the Public Trustee recognises that DFV is a workplace issue that can affect the safety, wellbeing, attendance, productivity and performance of all employees and the community we serve.
As we work towards obtaining White Ribbon Accreditation, training is being undertaken across the organisation to ensure all employees know how to Recognise when DFV is occurring, how to Respond to colleagues affected and Refer them on for further support if required.
Domestic violence is not acceptable in any form, and we are proud of the proactive steps we are taking as we strive for our accreditation. We believe we can play a part in eliminating DFV in Queensland.
