The Lady Bowen Trust gave a total of $112,500 in funding to 13 organisations around Queensland who are working to help people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness as part of its 2014 funding round at a ceremony in Brisbane on Tuesday,
11 March 2014.
Working in partnership with other charitable organisations, the Trust tailors support to help people with complex, individual needs to address issues that contribute to homelessness. These include mental health issues, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence and young people who are doing it tough or who have exited the care system.
