About our services
The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) may appoint us as your financial administrator. This may happen if you're unable to manage some or all your money due to a disability, illness or injury. We also provide these services if you appoint us as your financial attorney in an enduring power of attorney.
We tailor the support we provide to your individual needs. Some people need a lot of help, others only a little. Sometimes it’s just for a short time, sometimes it’s for a little longer.
Our role is to:
- ensure you receive the income you’re entitled to
- pay your bills on time
- help you manage a budget for living expenses such as rent, electricity, food, clothes and medication
- secure and protect your assets, such as your home, car and bank accounts.

Pathways to financial independence
If you want to take more control of your finances or want someone else to manage them for you, we offer pathways that can:
- help you develop the skills to manage your finances more independently
- refer you to independent support if you wish to apply to QCAT for a review of our appointment as your financial administrator.

About our fees and charges
We charge fees for our services and will tell you how much these fees will be when we meet you for the first time.
The amount of fees you pay depends on how much support you need. We review your situation each year to check if the level of support you need from us still suits your lifestyle.
We provide a summary of our fees and charges as part of your annual statement.

How we invest customer funds
If you have a trust fund or other money to be invested, we’ll work with you to identify the most suitable investment option based on your circumstances.
The income generated from your investments may vary each year. This is because it depends on various factors such as:
- the value of your funds
- broader economic conditions, including changes in interest rates.
