Sunshine Coast Stakeholder Forum Highlights the Importance of Community Education

In a commitment to continuous improvement and community engagement, Queensland Public Trustee recently hosted a dynamic stakeholder forum on the Sunshine Coast. Focused on ‘Matters of Trust’, the forum marked the end of Queensland Seniors Month and Carers Week, and addressed critical topics such as Wills, enduring powers of attorney, executors, and financial management for vulnerable Queenslanders.

Regional Stakeholder Forums

The Public Trustee is hosting a number of regional stakeholder forums across the state to engage in conversations about elder abuse prevention and raising awareness on how we can support those that may be experiencing elder abuse.

Cairns regional stakeholder forum

This forum provided an opportunity for key service providers, academics, and front-line professionals to discuss issues that relate to elder abuse and what can be done further to help protect some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Caloundra regional stakeholder forum

Toowoomba regional stakeholder forum

This forum provided an opportunity for discussion with key service providers, academics and frontline professionals about the issues relating to elder abuse and how to further to help protect some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
