Regional Stakeholder Forums

The Public Trustee is hosting a number of regional stakeholder forums across the state to engage in conversations about elder abuse prevention and raising awareness on how we can support those that may be experiencing elder abuse.

Elder abuse is any act which cases harm to an older person and is often carried out by someone they know and trust, such as a family member or friend. The forums provide an opportunity to discuss the issues relating to elder abuse with our frontline and service sector colleagues, and what can be done to further protect some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
