QATSIF nominated semi-finalists in Community Achievement Awards

Congratulations to Queensland Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF) who have been nominated as a semi-finalist in the Queensland Community Achievement Awards.

Established in 2008, QATSIF have been recognised for their support of over 8,700 Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in gaining their QCE (Queensland Certificate of Education).

The Public Trustee is proud to be the foundation’s trustee and is responsible for investing and granting funds, taking in to account the Board of Advice’s recommendations.

In 2018-19, more than $2.6 million was approved in senior education scholarships for young Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Finalists for the Queensland Community Achievement Awards are expected to be announced tomorrow.
