Features of MyQPT video

Welcome back to MyQPT portal, developed by Queensland Public Trustee.

This video shows you the important features of MyQPT. Keep watching to see how they look and hear about how they work.

This is the MyQPT homepage. It shows your financial summary, where you can see your Public Trustee cash account balance. This tells you how much money you have.

You can also see your payment history and upcoming payments. These are payments that have been made and payments that will be made soon.

Your profile summary is on the MyQPT homepage too. This shows personal details you might use when you talk to us.

If you need more information, you can look for answers in the Frequently Asked Questions section.

This is your MyQPT profile page. It shows more personal information that we have recorded about you, like your date of birth and phone number.

You cannot change the information you see on this page in MyQPT, but can call us between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on weekdays if you think it may be wrong. Our phone number is 1300 687 778.

This is your MyQPT financial summary page. It is divided up into sections that show your Public Trustee cash accounts, other cash accounts you have, your investment accounts, your assets, and your liabilities.

Assets are the valuable things you own, and liabilities are the money you owe. You can scroll on each section to see more information.

This is your MyQPT budget summary page. It shows your financial summary, where you can see how much money you have in your Public Trustee cash account.

You can also see your income and expenses over the past 12 months.

You can use the Income tab to see how much money you have received in that time. The Expenses tab shows how much money you budgeted to spend and how much money you did spend over the same 12 months.

This is your MyQPT payments and history page. It shows upcoming payments that will be made soon and payment history, which are payments that have already been made.

Payments could be to you, like your living expenses. The payments could also be for something else, like phone credit or rent.

There is information about each payment so you can keep track of where your money is going and what you are using it for.

This is your MyQPT statements page. You can see the first page of each statement in MyQPT or download your whole statement to your computer, tablet or smartphone.

The statements download as PDFs, but you can see how big the file is before you decide whether to download it.

You will not see all of your old statements here. After you join MyQPT, your next statement will be on this page. As you get new statements, they will be added to MyQPT too.

This is the MyQPT Frequently Asked Questions page. It shows questions other people have about managing their money with us, like how to request a payment or check an account balance. You can click on the questions to see the answers.

It also has quick tips on how to use MyQPT.

If you cannot see your question on this page, you can use the search bar at the top of the screen to search for the topic you want to know about.

If you need more help, you can use MyQPT to ask us to call you. We show you how to do that next.

This shows you how to contact us using MyQPT. You can contact us by clicking on the button underneath the phone symbol at the bottom of any page in MyQPT.

A form will pop up on your screen. Use the form to tell us what you would like to talk to us about.

You can also put more information in the form, but only use the form when you want to talk about something that is not urgent.

From left to right you can access:

  • the home / welcome screen
  • your profiles details
  • the finances section
  • your statements
  • the frequently asked questions section
  • search for quick access to help
  • your name, which allows you to sign out of MyQPT.

Welcome / home screen

On the welcome screen you can get a financial summary including:​

  • your cash account balance​
  • your upcoming and recent payments​
  • a summary of your profile details​
  • answers to common questions in the frequently asked questions​
  • a way to contact us if you need help.

On the profile screen you can find a detailed, read-only summary of your personal information recorded by QPT.

Financial summary

Your financial accounts are grouped into:

  • Public Trustee cash accounts
  • Other cash accounts
  • Investment accounts
  • Other assets
  • Liabilities

You can also view details of any insurance policies held with QPT.

Each section shows up to 50 records just scroll to see more.

Budget summary

Your budget summary displays your cash account balance.

It also displays your annual income and expenses. This is how much you’ve received or paid, against what was budgeted.

It’s designed with easy-to-read tables to help you stay on top of your finances quickly and easily.

Payments and history

Upcoming payments displays payments coming up, including:

  • what payments are scheduled
  • how often they happen.
  • their current status and amount.

In the payment history tab, you can check:

  • what’s already been paid
  • when it was paid
  • what each payment was for.

Statements

You can view your latest statements by either:

  • previewing the first page
  • downloading the full PDF.

Only new statements will appear here. Some customers may not see any until their next scheduled statement update.

If you have a non-urgent request, you can use the Contact us button in the footer area of MyQPT, to submit it directly through the portal.

Just choose a category that best fits your enquiry and add your message.

Your request will be sent to our customer support team who will review and respond.
